Impact

We strive to innovate workforce and workplace development in Newfoundland and Labrador.

How can we help?

Research

We conduct research projects that test innovative approaches for better ways to address Newfoundland and Labrador’s labour market issues and improve outcomes.

Best Practices

We will provide the public with the findings from the research projects and ways to implement them in the workforce along with other innovative models and best practices.

Capacity Building

We will help stakeholders develop and strengthen their workforce via training, information sessions, webinars and other capacity-building activities.

Community of Practice

We will engage a network of labour market partners to facilitate idea exchange, identify research opportunities, and share innovative approaches.

Meet Our Leadership

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, NLWIC would like to respectfully acknowledge the land on which we live and work, the island of Newfoundland, as the ancestral homelands of the Mi’kmaq and Beothuk peoples. We also recognize the Inuit and the Innu as the original people of Labrador. We offer our respects to all Indigenous cultures and recognize their continued connection to the land.
