NL LMI Infographics
These ten sets of NL Labour Market Information (LMI) Infographics were created by the NL Workforce Innovation Centre (NLWIC) corresponding to the establishment of ten Regional Workforce Development Committees throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
These infographics were created to aid each committee’s discussion and action planning. LMI is important to understand changing labour market and workforce dynamics. We use this information to expand knowledge of each region so stakeholders can continue to improve and have a positive impact on our provincial labour force.

The 10 Regional Workforce Development Committees are developing and implementing action plans to address workforce development needs specific to regions across the province. The Committees’ terms of reference include development and dissemination of labour market information, identifying priority focus areas for training and skills development and collaborative use of labour market programs and services, including immigration-related supports.
The Regional Workforce Development Committees is one of NLWIC’s core activities in collaboration with the Department of Immigration, Population Growth & Skills (IPGS) and the concurrent Future Skills Centre-funded research project “Testing and Evaluating the Impact of a New Workforce Development Model in Newfoundland and Labrador: Future-Proofing Our Skills Development Ecosystem”.
